PS) Jane, straight lines and perfect circles are not really my thing either... but it is teaching me a few lessons so for now I am working with it. See CP030 - it was done in a crazy moment of rebellion to straight lines. It was never meant to be a finished anything. But it made it on here because sometimes chaos produces fun texture and colors.

Thank you Jane. Colored pencil is something I started just a couple months ago... with CP001 being the first. I am doing all of these you see here as practice. I am experimenting with abstracts since it is so forgiving. I am using the, "What happens if I do this?" method. It is fun and a method that works well for me.

David, you must spend hours doing this finely detailed work. I do not see anything else like it.It is quite refreshing to contemplate shapes and colours with such fine shading and subtle blending. I don't use straight lines or perfect circles in my work.Maybe this is part of the "draw" of these ! Beautifully done. v/f
