Jane these were developed as I went along. "Combination 2" came about after I looked at "Combination" and decided I wasn't done - not that the piece wasn't done necessarily, but I wasn't. I think they can both stand alone as done.

David,I am merrily switching from Combination to Combination 2, and back again to see the differences and which one I like best. Couldn't decide of course ! I wonder sometimes if you "see" this whole design first or if it slowly develops as you go along.The colours and shapes always come together so beautifully.v/f
